VTB Bank (Armenia) summed up the results of the marketing campaign "When You Win", conducted jointly with the international payment system MasterCard, the Bank's press service told ArmInfo, explaining that the stimulating campaign is aimed at raising consumer awareness of the functionality and convenience of non-cash payments, increasing the volume of non-cash payments on MasterCard cards.
The draw was held at the head office of VTB Bank (Armenia) by means of a random sample by the lottery method and was broadcast live on the Bank's Facebook page. According to the results of the draw, the owners of 10 certificates for the purchase of household appliances became Edgar Davtyan, Kristine Grigoryan, Artak Karapetyan, Khoren Kerobyan, Suren Madoyan, Artem Nikoghosyan, Irina Ohanian, Narek Vanesyan, Oganes Vardanyan and Ananit Zakaryan. And Arsen Hakobyan became the happy owner of the main prize - the Renault Logan car.
To recall, "When you Win" campaign was held in the current year from July 1 to October 1 inclusive among holders of MasterCard cards of VTB Bank (Armenia). Under the terms of the promotion, the 100 most active MasterCard holders who made the most non-cash payments in trade and service outlets in Armenia, abroad and on the Internet during the campaign took part in the drawing of 10 certificates for purchasing home appliances and the main prize - Renault Logan .
According to the 17th issue of the analytical review "Armenian Banks in the Card Business", prepared by ArmInfo, VTB Bank (Armenia) holds the lead in the number of active cards, both total and MasterCard and Visa, and was entrenched in the top three largest in terms of plastic cards transactions. Thus, on April 1, 2018, the Bank had over 356.4 thousand cards, of which over 209.4 thousand are MasterCard and 147.1 thousand are Visa. In 2017, the volume of plastic transactions using VTB Bank (Armenia) cards amounted to 256.5 billion drams, of which about 80% or 204.6 billion are ATM transactions. The Bank managed to increase the volume of plastic transactions in y-o-y terms by 15.4%, and ATM transactions also increased. Until 2013, VTB Bank (Armenia) issued and serviced only international VISA cards, after which since September of the same year, becoming a full member of the international payment system MasterCard Worldwide, started issuing and servicing Cirrus / Maestro and MasterCard cards, along with it servicing and local ArCa cards. VTB Bank (Armenia) has its own processing.
