ArmInfo.On November 8, Pope Francis received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Armenia to the Vatican to the See of Mikael Minasyan on the occasion of the completion of his diplomatic mission.

As the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia told ArmInfo, Pope  Francis stressed the importance of the fruitful activities that  Minasyan did in the expansion and development of Armenian-Vatican  relations during the years in office. 

Ambassador Minasyan thanked the Holy See for efficient cooperation,  as well as for the support and warmth shown by the Pope in relation  to the Armenian people. Mikael Minasyan presented a book on the  history of Armenian-Vatican diplomatic relations to Pope Francis, the  publication of which was initiated by the Armenian Embassy in the  Holy See.
