ArmInfo.The President of the Football Federation of Armenia (FFA), Artur Vanetsyan, and the First Vice-President of the FFA, Secretary General Armen Melikbekyan, at the invitation of FIFA President Gianni Infantino, visited Zurich, Switzerland.
As reported on the official website of the FFA, on November 6, a meeting took place between the FIFA President and the FFA leadership team, during which Artur Vanetsyan and Armen Melikbekyan presented the prospects for the development of Armenian football in the coming years. In particular, programs were presented to develop infrastructure in the regions, as well as youth football throughout the country, conducted in order to stimulate mass football.
The programs presented by the FFA received high praise, and FIFA President Gianni Infantino stated that if the program is implemented, Armenia can become an example for many countries. FFA President Artur Vanetsyan invited Gianni Infantino to Armenia. According to the preliminary agreement, the visit of the FIFA President to Armenia will take place in 2019.
