ArmInfo.Deputy Minister of Justice Suren Krmoyan held a meeting with OSCE Secretary General Thomas Greminger, Coordinator of OSCE Economic and Environmental Activities, Ambassador Vuk and Advisor to the Office for Combating Money Laundering of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime Alexei Feshchenko, within the framework of his working visit to Vienna.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Justice, a wide range of issues related to the fight against corruption was discussed at the meetings.
Krmoyan spoke about the commitment of the new authorities to the fight against corruption and the unconditional support of citizens for the anti-corruption policy of the government. At the meeting, an agreement was reached with the OSCE on the implementation of joint anti-corruption programs, as well as the introduction of a more effective program to investigate corruption crimes. The OSCE Secretary General positively assessed the processes in Armenia, inquired about the current stage of the work being carried out, and assured that the Organization is next to the republic on the path to the implementation of reforms. He expressed the readiness of the structure to deepen cooperation with the Republic of Armenia to set higher standards in the fight against corruption in the republic.
