ArmInfo. Armenian President Armen Sarkissian signed decrees on the appointment of two new ministers.
According to the report of the President's Office, Armen Sarkissian, in particular, appointed Tigran Khachatryan Minister of Economic Development and Investment of RA. By another decree, Gegham Gevorgyan was appointed RA Minister of Agriculture. Appointments are made to on the basis of the proposal of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Article 131 of the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia, as well as part 1 of Article 5 of the Law "On the Structure and Activity of the Government".
To note that prior to his appointment as Minister, Tigran Khachatryan held the position of Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Investments of the Republic of Armenia, and Gegham Gevorgyan headed the Agricultural Development Fund.
On October 2, after the adoption of the bill by the parliament, which, according to his opponents, was aimed at preventing the dissolution of the National Assembly, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated at the rally on Baghramyan Avenue that the ministers and governors were dismissed from the Prosperous Armenia (PAP) party and ARF "Dashnaktsutyun".
