Recall that on June 16, the deputy of the Armenian parliament from the RPA, General Manvel Grigoryan, was detained by the National Security Service of Armenia. During searches, SNB operatives discovered and seized a large number of weapons and ammunition. In addition, a large arsenal of unregistered weapons, including mortars and rations for soldiers assembled by schoolchildren, was discovered in the mansion and in the general's dacha. On June 19, the Court of First Instance of Yerevan made a decision on the application of a measure of restraint in the form of arrest for Grigorian for a period of 2 months. On August 17, the court extended Grigoryan's arrest for another two months.
On August 22, he was hospitalized due to a deterioration in his health. According to Grigorian's defense, her client was diagnosed with more than 16 diseases, including diabetes and cancer.
