ArmInfo. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan together with his wife Anna Hakobyan within the framework of the 17th Summit The International Organization of the Francophonie on the eve of the evening attended a gala concert organized in Yerevan Republic Square.
French President Emmanuel Macron, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, heads of delegations participating in the summit, and Armenia's highest political and spiritual leadership also attended the gala concert.
The State Symphony Orchestra of Armenia performed at the gala concert, presenting the art of Armenian composers. The compositions of Armenian composers were sounded - symphony No. 2 by Aram Khachaturian, "Uzun Daran", Dance with Swords (jazz version), "Masquerade", episode from symphony No. 3 by Avet Terteryan, "Dance of Fishermen" from the ballet "Sevan" by Grigor Egiazarian, a fragment from symphonies of Edward Mirzoyan. The symphony orchestra performed the dance "Kochari", as well as "Dle amman" by Jivan Gasparyan. The final part of the gala concert was dedicated to the memory of the world famous chansonnier Charles Aznavour.
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan presented Emmanuel Macron with a book of the French leader "Revolution" translated into Armenian. The book was published on the eve of the summit of the International Organization of Francophone.
