Earlier today, during the next government meeting, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced his intention to appoint Ghazaryan as the head of the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs. From 2014 to September 2016, Gabriel Ghazaryan headed the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs. December 28, 2016 was appointed deputy minister of the department.
Recall that the predecessor of the new minister, Levon Vaghradian, was dismissed by the PAP by presidential decree Armen Sargsyan on the night of October 3, along with 5 other ministers who represented the Dashnaktsutyun and Prosperous Armenia parties in the government.
