The National Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet named after Alexander Spendiaryan will host the Armenian premiere of the Manon opera by the famous French composer Massenet on October 7 in the framework of the Summit of the Francophonie, and the gala performance will be held on October 10.
As noted in the statement of the Public Relations Department of the Opera and Ballet Theater, in Armenia Manon will be performed on the production of well- known actor and opera director Andrejs Zagars. This unique performance of A.Zagars, which has been already highly appreciated by the musical critics, was first performed in January 29, 2016 at the Stanislavski and Nemirovich-Danchenko Moscow Academic Music Theatre.
