ArmInfo.Moscow welcomes all the positive trends that have emerged in the process of the Nagorno-Karabakh settlement.
Thus, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, responded to the question of whether it is possible to talk about progress in the negotiation process on the Nagorno- Karabakh settlement. "We welcome all the positive trends that have emerged. It is important now to develop them and not to injure with careless rhetoric, which, unfortunately, has been taking place lately. For our part, we will provide all the necessary assistance to these positive trends," Zakharova said during the October 4th briefing.
It should be noted that on the margins of the CIS summit in Dushanbe, a conversation took place between Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. The sides expressed their commitment to negotiations on the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, strengthening the cease-fire regime to prevent incidents on the contact line of troops and on the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan. The parties also decided to develop mechanisms for establishing operational communication between the relevant structures.
