ArmInfo. Russian President Vladimir Putin and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan can meet at the CIS summit in Dushanbe. Such an opinion was expressed on September 25 by the Armenian Ambassador to Russia Vardan Toganian.
"It's hard to say, different versions are coming out. This year there will still be meetings of the leaders of the two countries. In Astana there will be a Collective Security Council of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, then in December there will be a summit of the EAPC countries, that is, they will have meetings," he told journalists News.
At the same time, the diplomat was at a loss to say when the visit of Vladimir Putin to Yerevan could take place. The ambassador noted that the invitation was recently handed over to Pashinyan by the Russian side. "Moreover, they will meet in Dushanbe now in a couple of days," Toganian added.
It should be reminded that the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan stated after his visit to Moscow that he invited the Russian leader to Armenia, but found it difficult to name the terms of the latter's visit.
The meeting of the Council of Heads of State and the Council of CIS Foreign Ministers will be held in Dushanbe on 27-28 September. Pashinyan will travel to Dushanbe from New York, where he participates in the UN General Assembly.
