ArmInfo.<During the 12-day campaigning campaign, the Prosperous Armenia Party (PPA), the police received signals that the PAP activists were allegedly giving out election bribes,> 4/35 candidate for mayor of Yerevan from the Prosperous Armenia Party Naira Zohrabyan.
"Over 300 of our activists regularly appeared in police stations in different administrative districts of Yerevan. However, such signals coming to the police were not confirmed for one simple reason: voters were not bribed and will not be, "she stressed.
In this vein Zohrabyan appealed to the law enforcement bodies, in particular, to the Chief of the Police of Armenia Valery Osipyan to call to criminal responsibility those who disseminated false information about the PAP. "Although I think that there really were no such persons at all, since I myself was repeatedly at sites where ordinary policemen told me that there were not any signals behind these signals, but they had to react in view of their official duties. Therefore, I believe that one goal was pursued here - to disrupt the work of our team " said Zohrabyan.
If they do not find the people spreading slander against the activists of the PAP, according to Zohrabyan, the party will be forced to make a statement that the work of the RA Police has a purposeful policy directed against "Prorovous Armenia". <Therefore, the question arises - does Valery Osipyan have the right to hold the post of chief of the RA Police,> Zohrabyan stated.
