ArmInfo.On September 13, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received a delegation headed by French Senator Gilbert-Luc Devinaz, Chairman of the France- Armenia friendship group.
As the press service of the executive body of Armenia informs, during the meeting Nikol Pashinyan noted the importance of the activity of the friendship group aimed at further development and strengthening of the Armenian-French relations. He also highly appreciated the level of interstate cooperation between Armenia and France. The Armenian Prime Minister expressed confidence that his forthcoming visit to France will also help further deepen bilateral ties.
According to the Prime Minister, Armenia is intensively preparing for the 17th summit of the International Organization of La Francophonie. He expressed confidence that the event will be held at a high level. The interlocutors touched upon the level of bilateral cooperation in various fields. At the same time, they stressed the importance of further development and expansion of economic ties between countries, including a consistent increase in bilateral trade.
They also touched upon the events taking place in Armenia, the ongoing reforms and the development of democracy in the country. They touched upon the changes in the RA Electoral Code, steps aimed at improving the business environment, stimulating investment, including simplification of tax and customs administration.
