ArmInfo.The Armenian parliament approved the candidature of Arman Dilanyan at the September 13 sitting as a member of the Constitutional Court of the country. Of the 105 MPs, 88 parliamentarians took part in the voting. 81 MPs voted for Arman Dilanyan's candidacy and 7 voted against.There were no invalid votes.
Arman Dilanyan was nominated by the General Meeting of Judges on the basis of Part 1 of Article 166, Article 213 of the RA Constitution and Part 3 of Article 141 of the Constitutional Law "On NA Rules of Procedure".
Arman Dilanyan has PhD in Law. Since 1996 he has worked in the Constitutional Court. Since 2006 he has taught in Armenian-Russian (Slavonic) University headed the Department of International and European Law of the Slavonic University. In 2013, by presidential decree, Dilanyan was appointed a judge of the Administrative Court. He also taught at the School of Advocacy.
