ArmInfo. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received Secretary General of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Thomas Greminger, with whom he discussed the Karabakh issue and the actions of the new Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan in the Karabakh direction.
"Ilham Aliyev stressed that the new Prime Minister of Armenia from the first days made contradictory statements on the settlement of the conflict and these statements, at least, are surprising. Aliyev stressed the unacceptability of the Armenian Premier's thesis that Azerbaijan should negotiate with the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, and also stressed that in general, the Azerbaijani side is of the opinion that Pashinyan is trying in every possible way to disrupt the negotiation process," Interfax Azerbaijan quotes Azerbaijani President as saying.
Baku "Interfax" notes that "Ilham Aliyev called on the OSCE Secretary General not to stay away from the current political situation in Armenia and drew the attention of Thomas Greminger to mass violations of human rights, arrests of political opponents and the emergence of a new dictatorial regime in Armenia."
