ArmInfo. Artsakh Foreign Minister Masis Mayilian received a delegation headed by Baroness Caroline Cox, a member of the House of Lords of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
As reported by ArmInfo in the press service of the head of the NKR, Mayilian stressed the importance of the next visit of Caroline Cox in Artsakh from the point of view acquaintance with the current situation in the republic and achievements in various spheres.
The Minister highly appreciated the efforts of the Baroness to protect the rights and legitimate interests of the citizens of Artsakh abroad, raising the level of awareness of the international community about Artsakh, disseminating objective information regarding the Azerbaijani-Karabakh conflict, as well as resolving humanitarian issues in the Republic.
During the meeting, Mayilyan touched upon the current stage of the process of settling the Azerbaijani- Karabakh conflict, presented the progress made in the process of international recognition of Artsakh and decentralized cooperation with the subjects of various countries of the world, and also answered the questions of the members of the delegation.
Artsakh Foreign Minister awarded Baroness Caroline Cox a commemorative medal devoted to the 25th anniversary of the creation of the Artsakh Foreign Ministry.
