ArmInfo. Armenia abolished entry visas for Albanian citizens. The relevant decision was taken on August 30 at a government meeting.
The visa-free regime, as noted in the justification for the draft decision, is introduced on the principles of reciprocity. Earlier in 2013, Albania freed the citizens of Armenia from the requirement to obtain entry visas. The decision will allow Albanian citizens to visit Armenia and stay in the country 180 days a year without entry visas. It is expected that this will not only stimulate tourism, but will also begin mutual understanding of the two peoples, the development of bilateral cooperation.
