ArmInfo.The Armenian government will allocate 120 million drams to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia with the aim of implementing activities related to the preparation and holding of the 17th summit of the International Organization of La Francophonie (OIF). The relevant draft decision is included in the agenda of the Armenian government's tomorrow's meeting.
According to the explanatory note to the document, in order to ensure the accommodation of high-ranking guests who will arrive in Armenia to participate in the Summit of the International Organization of La Francophonie from October 7 to 12, more than 1,300 rooms are booked in 40 hotels between October 6 and 13.
To recall, the 17th Summit of La Francophonie will be held in Yerevan on October 11-12. In overall, representatives of more than 80 countries will visit Armenia, many delegations will be represented at the highest level. Three days before the two-day Summit, a forum of foreign ministers will take place, at which a meeting of the Permanent Council will also be held. Also, it is expected that an economic forum will be held within the framework of the event, in which about 350 companies and enterprises from French- speaking countries will take part. Ceremonies of signing memorandums on cooperation will be organized within the framework of the forum. Hundreds of journalists from French-speaking countries will arrive in Armenia to cover the events within the framework of the Summit. The summit's slogan is "Living together"
