ArmInfo.The Public Council under the Ministry of Defense of Armenia summed up the results of the summer draft for compulsory military service. A total of 142 complaints were received at the ministry.
According to the press service of the Armenian Defense Ministry, 80 out of 142 complaints were moved forward, 74 of which were addressed to the Central Medical Board. "Based on the recommendations and offers of the commission, 27 conscripts were sent for additional examination, 2 of them for operations and examination data of 10 conscripts were reevaluated. As a result, the fitness for service of 28 draftees was reviewed, 10 were found unfit, one of them temporarily unfit for service, 17 were given a delay of up to one year for treatment. With regard to another 10 conscripts, decisions were made on additional expert opinions, which restricted their physical activities during the service, Armenian Defense Ministry said in a statement
