Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Mher Grigoryan, during the meeting with the Ambassador of Japan to Armenia Jun Yamada noted the importance of expanding and deepening the Armenian-Japanese cooperation in all areas of mutual interest. As the press service of the government told ArmInfo, in this context Grigoryan highlighted the field of information technologies.
In turn, Yamada noted that there is much in common between Armenia and Japan, especially the respect shown in the two countries to their own history and culture. At the meeting, the sides touched upon Japanese investments in the Armenian economy and prospects for bilateral economic cooperation.
The Deputy Prime Minister spoke about the advantages of doing business in Armenia and a favorable environment, and noted that Japan should consider Armenia not only as a separate market, but also as a gateway to the markets of other member countries of the Eurasian Economic Union. The Japanese diplomat assured that he will tell the leadership of his country about the attractive investment environment in Armenia, and will spare no effort to develop the Armenian-Japanese relations during his tenure.
