ArmInfo. Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev touched upon Nagorno-Karabakh conflict issue in his opening speech at the 5th summit of Caspian littoral states once again calling Armenia an ''occupant''.
Aliyev assured that Azerbaijan is making a significant contribution to the strengthening of regional stability and security. "The occupation policy conducted by Armenia against Azerbaijan imposes serious threat to regional security," he assured. At the same time, the Azerbaijani leader "sang an old song" about the occupation of Azerbaijani territories, about refugees and non-fulfillment of UN Security Council resolutions.
"Armenia attempts to conduct a policy of illegal settlement in the occupied territories. Nagorno-Karabakh and the seven other occupied regions around it are the historical primordial Azerbaijani land, and the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict must be settled within the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan recognized by all countries of the world," Aliev stated.
