ArmInfo.Scheduled military trainings were held in Panik village of Shirak region and there is no need to look for a political context. This opinion was expressed by the director of the National Security Service of Armenia, Artur Vanetsyan, on July 19 in a conversation with journalists.
According to Vanetsyan, the authorities have already reacted to the incident, gave their assessment and formally appealed to the leadership of the 102nd Russian military base stationed in Armenia. The administration of the base, in turn, apologized because it did not inform in advance about the planned teaching.
As a result, according to the head of the Armenian National Security Service, the local government was assured from the military base that this will not happen again.
