ArmInfo. On July 17, Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Tigran Avinyan met with State Minister of Artsakh, Grigory Martirosyan.
As the press service of the Government reports, the State Minister stressed that the issues coordinated by him coincide with those of Deputy PM Tigran Avinyan, and this is a good opportunity for cooperation on the most specific issues. Then the parties discussed the programs implemented in specific areas and existing problems. Martirosyan presented to the Deputy Prime Minister the programs being implemented in Artsakh in the field of agriculture and the government's vision of the development of the sector. According to the State Minister, in this area, one of the top priorities is to protect the crop from hail.
In his turn, Avinyan noted that the RA Ministry of Agriculture is implementing certain new steps in this direction, and the government of Armenia is ready to provide all the possible assistance to Artsakh. Then the parties discussed the issue of housing provision. According to the State Minister, the Artsakh government is studying Armenia's experience in implementing state programs in this sector. In turn, Avinyan confirmed the government's readiness to help in developing competitive projects in this area. The parties also discussed issues of energy and economic cooperation. In this regard, the importance of attracting investments was stressed. In this context, Avinyan presented the position of the Armenian government - every project implemented in Armenia should have the maximum possible representation in Artsakh.
