ArmInfo. On the occasion of the National Holiday of France - Bastille Day, celebrated on July 14, RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a congratulatory message to the head of the French state.
According to the press service of the Armenian government, the message reads: "I warmly congratulate you and express my best wishes to you and the friendly people of France on the occasion of the National Holiday of the French Republic .I am glad that our meeting in Brussels was a good opportunity to get acquainted and continue good traditions of high-level political dialogue between our countries, and also to reaffirm our joint commitment to the further strengthening of special relations based on a rich historical basis Armenia appreciates France's longstanding efforts as a co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group for an exclusively peaceful settlement of the Karabakh conflict through negotiations, and we attach importance to the support of France from the moment of gaining independence of Armenia to create a democratic and lawful state, as well as deepening Armenia-EU cooperation, including within the framework of the Agreement on Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership. I am convinced that the forthcoming state visit to Armenia in October will be an important milestone in the interstate relations of our countries, giving a qualitatively new level to bilateral economic ties. Of course, another important event closely connected with the Armenian-French agenda is the holding of the 17th Summit of the International Organization of the Francophonie in our country, and holding it at the highest level is our priority. Once again, congratulating you on the National Holiday of France, I wish you good health and success, and to the friendly people of France - peace, progress and prosperity."
