ArmInfo. The State Oversight Service revealed a case of the theft of the transformer in "High Voltage Electric Networks" CJSC, Head of the State Service David Sanasaryan told journalists on July 10 after the meeting of the government.
According to him, today, on July 10, the relevant materials will be sent to the Prosecutor General's Office of Armenia. "We initiated, found the stolen transformer, the matter concerns millions, in the attempts of misappropriating of which the employees of the Ministry of Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources also participated," Sanasaryan said, adding: "So, we are working."
To note, there are 13 substations with a capacity of 220 KW and 2 substations with a capacity of 110 KW on the balance sheet of "High Voltage Electric Networks" CJSC. The total capacity of 33 power transformers operating on these stations makes up 2561.0 MVA, and one switch point "Agarak" - 220 KW. The power of the operating power transformers installed at the 220 KW and 110 KW substations is sufficient to transfer the consumed electricity. In the territory of Armenia, High Voltage Electric Networks CJSC conducts economic activities in the transmission and production of electric power. The company consists of an administrative apparatus with its divisions and 9 branches, of which the branches "Eastern", "Western", "Northern", "Goris", "Zangezur", "Central", "Southern" carry out the main licensed monopoly activity -transmission of energy (capacity) of the Republic of Armenia by their high-voltage transmission lines.
