Thus, the Azerbaijani minister touched upon the Karabakh conflict and spoke about the real threats that the conflict represents to the Eastern Partnership. "While the Armenian Foreign Minister talks about peace, his country should first of all leave the territories it occupied and recognize that the fact of occupation poses a serious threat to the peace and security of the region. If Armenia talks about peace, then it must be responsible for security, withdrawing its troops from the occupied territories of Azerbaijan," Mammadyarov assured.
Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan also participates in the meeting in Minsk. Moreover, the Press Secretary of the Armenian Foreign Ministry Tigran Balayan posted a photo on Twitter where the Foreign Ministers of Armenia, Azerbaijan and Belarus are talking on the sidelines of the meeting.
