ArmInfo. The Armenian Ministry of Health conducted inspections in the Zoological Park of Yerevan to check whether employees and animals have tuberculosis.
As the press service of the Ministry of Health reports, the inspection revealed that neither employees nor animals in the zoo have tuberculosis. Thus, at the moment the zoo is safe, and visitng it will not cause harm to health.
To note, several dozen animals died in winter in the zoo of Yerevan, and for that period visitors were not allowed there. The cause of death of the animals was tuberculosis.
