ArmInfo. The service of state control of the Prime Minister of Armenia promises to work transparently and do not cover anyone. "Over the years, the Republican Party has sent incorrect messages to the public: be silent, because problems can arise on the border, we need to talk about it, voice problems, so that it does not happen again," said David Sanasaryan, head of the State Control Service, on June 21, commenting on the statement deputy of the faction "Elk" Sasun Mikaelyan that "the army needs to be cautious, especially in the period when on the front there is an accumulation of enemy forces."
As the head of the State Control said, the opinion of Sasun Mikaelyan is worthy of respect, however, the department has its priorities. "Taking into account the fact that there are problems on the front line, the rear should be organized correctly, and violations and crimes should not be committed in the rear," he said.
According to Sanasaryan, he wants the new minister to start the matter fully cleared and exercise his powers, without any concern that numerous serious violations of the law were committed in the rear. "Thus, we are not going to harm, or to prove something to someone," he said. As the head of the department stressed, the Ministry of Defense is of great importance for the country, in connection with which "the Defense Ministry should be clean, strong, and the wasted funds should be returned to the budget."
At the same time, responding to the remark that the current head of the Defense Ministry earlier - in the period of abuses committed - worked in the position of deputy head of the Defense Ministry of Armenia and whether in all this his share of responsibility, David Sanasaryan answered that there were no problems with David Tonoyan, (Minister of Defense, Ed.) no. "If after all these changes we have to look at the fact that this or that minister is our friend, relative, then why are these changes needed? If my friends are revolutionaries, break the law in their departments, then they will bear more responsibility than others ", he declared. According to Sanasaryan, today there is a very "unprecedented, surreal situation" - the ministers themselves ask that the State Control Service conduct their first checks in their departments. For many years, as he pointed out, Armenia was plundered by the former authorities. "Over the years, public funds have been squandered, and today we must put an end to these phenomena," concluded the head of the National Audit Office.
