ArmInfo.Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia Armen Grigoryan assured that the Defense Forces fully control the enemy's activity on the front line, taking preventive measures to prevent possible large-scale military actions.
For example, on Radio Liberty, Grigoryan informed that the Armenian delegation led by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during his visit to Artsakh last week got acquainted with the situation on the front line: "The head of the Defense Ministry of Artsakh, during the meeting, presented the current situation on the front line, the situation is not much different from the one before. Azerbaijan continues to be active in the front line, followed closely by the Defense Army, in order not to allow such developments that could lead to large scale action. In general, the intensity remains the same as it was, however, increased in comparison with previous times, we have a concern. But overall, the Artsakh Defense Army controls the situation and is ready to perform any task set."
Touching upon the sale of Minsk arms to Baku, Grigoryan stressed that the sale of weapons to Azerbaijan does not correspond to the level of cooperation between Armenia and Belarus. "Armenia-Belarus relations are at different levels, relations between Armenia and Belarus are not on bilateral, but at the level of cooperation, I mean the availability of interaction at various venues - the CIS, CSTO, and from this point of view our relations are at a high level, and the sale of weapons does not correspond to the level of our cooperation. We have already expressed our concern about this, we must understand that the problems are not solved immediately. This problem has existed for a long time and once sounded it, we can not find a solution." In this context, the Secretary of the Security Council recalled that the press secretary of the Armenian Foreign Ministry indicated that this issue is being discussed at the multilateral level with the Belarusian side, and the answers that the Armenian side receives are not satisfactory. Grigoryan is convinced that it is necessary to continue work in this direction to find a solution.
A week earlier it became known about the deliveries of Belarusian MLRS "Polonez" to Azerbaijan. Azerbaijani media reported that they were presented to the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev during the opening of a military unit.
Touching upon the possibility of withdrawing from the EAEU and the CSTO due to the sale of arms to Azerbaijan by Russia, the Secretary of the Security Council stressed that one should not withdraw from international structures but try to improve their work.
