ArmInfo. Emergency Minister Hrachya Rostomyan met with Japanese Ambassador to Armenia Jun Yamada on June 14.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the purpose of the meeting was to discuss and determine the directions and programs of cooperation between the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Government of Japan. The Emergency Situations Minister expressed the hope that close cooperation between the two countries would be continued.
The Ambassador of Japan said that he took office in an important period for Armenia. He noted that the former ambassador gave him details on the interaction between the Ministry of Emergency Situations of RA and the government of Japan.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the program for the provision of modern equipment by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia to Japan.
