ArmInfo. The MP of the Armenian parliament from the Tsarukyan faction Naira Zohrabyan believes that Armenia is currently at the stage of recovery. ''I think that the term 'unrest ' today accurately characterizes the processes in Armenia, as we have lived for a long time in the bog and breathed evil odor and the moment has come when we need unrest that will help to dispel this unpleasant smell.
I think that the processes occuring in Armenia currently have healing effect, .Fundamental changes are taking place in the country, but changes must take place in our thinking too. "One can not demand changes from the opponent, but at the same time continue to think and act as before," said the Armenian MP at the "the Future of the Eastern Partnership in the period of unrest'' conference held on June 14 in Yerevan.
At the same time, she expressed her conviction that the European vector of Armenia's foreign policy will not only remain unshakable, but the relations will deepen. She also disagreed with the formula of the "3 + 2" of Brussels summit regarding the intensity of the interaction. Zohrabyan believes that there can be only one formula - "3 + 2 + 1", where one is Armenia, which is exceptional in its kind. At the same time, the MP stressed that Armenia today has serious expectations from the European Union. "Whatever the new authorities touch in the country, corrupt schemes are revealed everywhere, from kindergartens to ministries. The system is completely corrupted, and I believe that there is a share of your guilt in this situation, Mr. Ambassador," Zohrabyan addressed the Head of the EU delegation to Armenia Piotr Switalski, who was present at the event. According to her, the fault is that when the opposition voiced problems and asked not to provide assistance to this or that department for the implementation of certain projects, since they do not serve to direct purposes, but are plundered, nobody listened to it. According to Zohrabyan, the corruption schemes that are being revealed today are only the beginining.
At the same time, she expressed assurance that serious discussions should be held on the issue of the Armenia-EU comprehensive and expanded partnership agreement in order to find out what stepts should be taken next.
