ArmInfo. Armenian President Armen Sarkissian sent today a congratulatory letter to his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin on Russia Day, the press service of the Armenian President informs.
"Dear Vladimir Vladimirovich, accept my warm congratulations on the occasion of the national holiday - Russia Day. This significant day has launched systemic transformations in state building and social-economic development, in the fields of education, science and culture, with which the brotherly people of Russia are rightly proud. The achieved success has even more strengthened the country's role and reputation in the international affairs. The deep roots of the cooperation of our two people, which are based on solid ties of century-long friendship, trust and mutual- aid, today contribute to the expansion of bilateral allied partnership of Armenia and Russia. I am sure that the efficient development of multilateral intergovernmental relations will furthermore derive from the main interests of our peoples and countries, contribute to ensuring regional and international security," the Armenian President wrote in his message.
