ArmInfo. Minister of Economic Development and Investments of Armenia Artsvik Minasyan received yesterday the delegation headed by Vassilis Maragos, Head of Unit of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus and Eastern Partnership of the Directorate-General for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations of the European Commission.
As the press service of the Ministry informs the Minister welcomed the guests and mentioned the importance of consistent development of cooperation with the EU. During the meeting the sides discussed programs being implemented in Armenia within the EU assistance programs, touched upon efficient implementation of provisions under the Agreement on Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership between Armenia and the European Union.
To recall, on June 8 Poland ratified the Agreement on Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership between Armenia and the European Union, becoming the fourth country after Baltic countries to ratify the agreement. To note, starting from June 1 the Agreement has entered into force by 80%. The document will fully come into force after all EU countries have ratified it.
