ArmInfo. In Yerevan, in the central building of YSU, an exhibition of photographs of the famous Bulgarian photographer Ladislav Tsvetkov "Colorful Bulgaria" opened.
As Bulgarian Ambassador to Armenia Maria Pavlova Tzotzorkova-Kaymaktchieva told ArmInfo correspondent, the exhibition poses two tasks for itself. "The first is to show the beauty and sights of Bulgaria, and the second is to tell about the traditions and culture of our people." Tsvetkov's photographs show the whole color of our country. "Through the prism of his camera, the photographer tells about the customs of our people, traditions, natural riches, cultural and historical attractions ", the diplomat noted.
At the same time, she added that Tsvetkov is one of the outstanding Bulgarian photographers. "The photo exhibition takes place within the framework of Bulgaria's chairmanship of the Council of the European Union, which enables citizens of Armenia to get to know Bulgaria better, to get more information about our country, and maybe even go on a trip," the diplomat said.
In her opinion, this exhibition can promote stimulation of bilateral cultural tourism. "Because Bulgaria is not just the sea, we have many beauties that I think will be of interest to the Armenian citizen, and we would also like to stimulate the reverse process, that is, for Bulgarian citizens to come to Armenia." Stimulating cultural tourism. As for us, this is one of the priorities in the program of the new government of Armenia, "the ambassador concluded.
