ArmInfo.. Extraordinary parliamentary elections will be held in Armenia, regardless of the will of the Republican Party. Tigran Avinyan, Deputy Prime Minister, yesterday told journalists about this.
According to him, these elections can be organized in different ways. At the same time, he did not specify which ones. "The people are preparing to hold early elections, and they will take place irrespective of the will of the Republican Party," Avinyan said.
Earlier, the head of the faction of the Republican Party of Armenia Vahram Baghdasaryan stated that at present there is no need to hold early elections. As he pointed out, the RPA will prepare for elections only in 2022. To note, on May 15 at the talk with journalists Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan stated that extraordinary parliamentary elections will be held already in 2018.
