As the presidential press service reports, Sarkissian noted with satisfaction that over the past 25 years of diplomatic relations, the Armenian-Finnish relations are constantly developing. The President of Armenia stressed the importance of continuing high-level political dialogue and invited his Finnish colleague to visit Armenia. According to Armen Sarkissian, Armenia and Finland, being small countries, have much in common, which creates a basis for expanding cooperation.
In his turn, the President of Finland stated that he closely followed the recent changes in Armenia and was happy with the peaceful resolution of the situation in Armenia. During the meeting, the sides also touched upon the prospects for cooperation within the framework of the Agreement on Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership between Armenia and the EU, and exchanged views on regional and international issues.
