Congressman Dave Trot stressed the importance of recognizing the Armenian Genocide by Congress in order to prevent such crimes against humanity in the future. He also promised to put the relevant resolution to vote before the end of the current Congress.
And Congressman Cicilline, turning to the Secretary of State, asked if he will recognize the Armenian Genocide. In response, Pompeo said that he will get acquainted with the issue.
