According to the prime minister, on the basis of the closed nature of the topic, one cannot speak publicly about new systems. The prime minister recalled that during the meeting in Sochi with Russian President Vladimir Putin, which was held in a good atmosphere, the issue was raised about deepening bilateral relations in all directions, and military-technical cooperation is no exception. "I think that these relations will develop in the coming years," Nikol Pashinyan said. He also pointed out the importance of forming an atmosphere of trust between the two countries.
Earlier it was reported that the armed forces of Armenia in the coming months will receive Russian surface- to-air missile systems (Tor missile systems). The Russian anti-aircraft missile system "Thor" is designed to provide tactical protection of troops and civilian targets from air strikes. The SAM is able to fight against various types of missiles, unmanned aerial vehicles, aircraft bombs, aircraft and enemy helicopters.
