ArmInfo.The mandate of the former MP of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, who was elected Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, passed to Alen Simonyan, member of the Elk faction of the Council of Elders of Yerevan. Ara Babloyan, RA NA Speaker, stated on May 22 in the parliament of the country.
In addition to Alen Simonyan from the Yelk bloc, Hrachya Hakobyan, Hovik Aghazaryan and Hayk Konjoryan also received MP mandates, which were replaced in the country's parliament by Ararat Mirzoyan, Mane Tandilyan and Artak Zeynalyan. Instead of Gikor Avalian from the Republican Party, deputy mandate was granted to Hakob Hakobyan, and Agvan Vardanyan was given to Ruzan Arakelyan.
Recall, at a special meeting of the National Assembly of Armenia on May 8, the head of the Yelk faction Nikol Pashinyan, who was nominated by 1/3 of the deputies, was elected the Prime Minister of Armenia. After the election as prime minister, at the suggestion of Nikol Pashinyan, Ararat Mirzoyan was appointed the first prime minister, Mane Tandilyan - the minister of labor and social issues, and Artak Zeynalyan - the minister of justice. Aghvan Vardanyan resigned his mandate at the request of ARF Dashnaktsutyun, and Grikor Avalyan submitted a statement on the addition of deputy powers.
