ArmInfo.A serious political crisis in the country found its solution by constitutional, legal and peaceful means. The head of the EU delegation to Armenia Piotr Svitalsky stated this within the framework of the Europe days in Vanadzor.
At the same time he expressed his conviction that first of all this is a great achievement of the people and political elite of Armenia. "These events once again proved that Armenian youth has great potential and this potential should be used for the development of the country." Young people have many expectations, they want to live in a country free from corruption in a country that is properly and effectively managed in a country in which there is an independent, impartial and fair judicial system. They want to live in a country where economic activity is carried out in conditions of equal rights, where there are no privileged, where no one has dominant positions in the market, " EU ambassador added, reports Radio Svoboda.
Switalsky is convinced that young people in Armenia have quite healthy expectations, but at the same time, he advises to be patient: "It is necessary to be patient, because from the experience of other countries we know that after such events, changes can not be made in Anyway, what I have already noticed is how the faces of young people have changed: today the youth looks to the future with hope, and we will help turn this hope into reality. "
Asked whether the events in Armenia will contribute to the rapprochement between the Yerevan-Brussels relations, as well as the liberalization of the visa regime, Piotr Switalsky replied that he is convinced that they are on the right track and this process will have a positive outcome. "My colleagues from the European Union arrived in Armenia last week, the main issue on the agenda was the issue of liberalizing visas, but at the same time, there was the process of simplifying the visa regime, because the Republic of Armenia is currently in the process, and if it is successful it will be a good start for the process of liberalization of visas, " the European Ambassador said.
