At the same time, he assured that traditionally corrupt institutions completely stopped illegal actions. According to him, it is a question of customs, tax, judicial, and also some services of police.
At the same time, according to him, active work is currently underway to identify corrupt chains on previously committed crimes. "Soon after, the names of those who illegally enriched themselves through corruption schemes will be revealed, and some of them have stolen money from the state and illegally enriched over the years, it is necessary to find solutions to return the stolen funds, and not put the person in jail, because this does not solve the problem There are 350 people in Armenia who do not know that they are engaged in large business and do not pay taxes, they have taken passports and registered a business. These people do not know that they have big business and live in heavy social. We will have a full picture by the end of the month, "said the newly appointed head of the National Security Service of Armenia.
Vanetsyan also refuted the information that the FBI visited Armenia. According to him, this information is not true.
Earlier, the Zhamanak daily reported with reference to its sources that a delegation of FBI investigators visited Armenia. "According to our information, the group will investigate the facts of illegal export of capital from Armenia. The investigators will focus on those oligarchs and officials who exported illegally earned money to the US and tried to legitimize them there by acquiring real estate or business," the publication wrote, noting that among those who may be the target and the brother of the third president of Armenia.
