ArmInfo. The statements of Azeri Defense Minister Zakir Hasanov on Azerbaijan's readiness for a large-scale war - once again demonstrates the true essence of Baku. The press secretary of Artsakh head David Babayan stated in a conversation with the correspondent of ArmInfo.

"Such statements once again demonstrates the true essence, the face  of Baku, and we must be glad that they do not lie at least in this  matter," Babayan said. And in this context, he stressed the  importance of the efforts of the international community and the  Armenian side to peacefully resolve the conflict through  negotiations.

To clarify whether the domestic political crisis in Armenia affected  the situation at the frontline, Babayan stated that if the situation  went under the worst scenario and blood was spilled, then the enemy  would undoubtedly take advantage of this. "Fortunately, the worst  forecasts were not borne out in Mother Armenia, today we should  strive to restore the natural rhythm of the country's life in the  shortest time possible, and all citizens must make efforts,  regardless of who he is, the oppositionist or the representative of  the authorities", he said.

Earlier, Azeri Defense Minister Zakir Hasanov expressed his attitude  to the statements made by Yerevan, including the newly-elected Prime  Minister of Armenia, during the working meeting. "The Minister of  Defense warned the military-political leadership of Armenia that such  actions are unacceptable and the Azeri army is fully prepared for  large-scale military operations." Having thoroughly analyzed the  current situation at the front, the minister ordered to keep under  constant monitoring the Armenian army's activity on the front line  and in the depth of defense," the words of Hasanov citied Azeri  media.
