ArmInfo.The Russian Embassy in Armenia reacted to the incorrect statement of Russian experts on the internal political situation in Armenia.

Union of Armenians of Russia also reacted. "Deeply outraged by the  shameless and cynical remarks made against Armenia and Armenians on  the air of Radio Komsomolskaya Pravda on April 26, 2018. In the air  of GlavTema with the participation of Mikhail Leontyev, Ilya Saveliev  and Mikhail Yuryev, its participants allowed themselves in the most  cynical form an insult to a whole people. They, having crossed all  limits of journalistic and human ethics, as well as legal and civil  responsibility for their actions, made a number of irresponsible and  degrading statements about our people, using obscene language, which  by definition should not be on air, especially such a well-known  radio station as . It is obvious that at such a  crucial moment when not only the millions of Armenians living in  Russia but the whole world is observing Armenia, whose people have  demonstrated their adherence to the principles of peace and  democracy, such irresponsible and extremist shows in the Russian  media, often perceived by the broad masses as the official position  of the Russian state, can inflict huge damage on Russian-Armenian  relations, create an atmosphere of hostility and distrust," the  statement reads.

At the same time, it is stressed that the Union of Armenians of  Russia, as the largest all-Russian public organization representing  and uniting the Armenian Diaspora in Russia, will seek due assessment  of the actions of the persons involved in the aforementioned show, in  terms of the conformity of these actions to Russian legislation with  regard to combating extremism, calls for violence and inciting ethnic  hatred.

"The corresponding appeals on behalf of the UAR to the President of  the Russian Federation, the general director of Komsomolskaya Pravda  and to the prosecutor's office are already directed, and we are  counting on due understanding on their part," the statement reads.
