ArmInfo. "Our people decided that I should be the prime minister." This was stated in an interview with RBC by the leader of the "Make a step" movement, opposition MP Nikol Pashinyan answering the question whether it is correct to assume that he does not see anyone except himself, in the place of the provisional prime minister.
"Why you always say "you, you, you"? It is the nation who decided that I should be the Prime Minister", Pashinyan said.
Asked whether they are currently negotiating with the Republican Party in any form, he said that yes, adding that negotiations are under way with some MPs from the Republican Party of Armenia, with some of its officials, because the situation is such that there is not that figure , which can really speak for all Republicans. "Therefore, yesterday we proposed that the talks should not be between me and Karen Karapetyan, but also that the speaker of the Armenian parliament Ara Babloyan and the head of the republican faction Vahram Baghdasaryan should attend the talks because very many Republicans tell us directly that Karen Karapetyan is not their We think that these negotiations should be effective, and we should be sure that we are talking with the representative of all Republicans. "Karen Karapetyan is not such a representative," the opposition MP noted. He added that they held talks with more than 30 RPA deputies. He also did not go into details of the talks with the leader of the Prosperous Armenia party Gagik Tsaroukyan, saying only that while negotiations in the process there are no concrete agreements.
Answering the question why he went on to aggravate and cancel the talks with Karapetyan, Pashinyan said that this is due to the fact that many Republicans do not see him as their representative. "I just asked to bring two more people in. He refused," he said.
Asked about how many thousands of people he is willing to take to the streets, if the Republican Party somehow does not let him become a temporary prime minister, Pashinyan in particular said: "I will invite many." And who will come - we will solve our problem, and will not come - we will not solve the problem. " To clarify whether he intends to take people out on the streets until his political rivals give a provisional premier, the deputy said: "Yes, not that I am, I just think that people will not let us act differently ", Pashinyan said.
The deputy also expressed his conviction that there will be no force solution to the issue.
Answering the question about how technically they intend to win the parliamentary elections, Pashinyan said: "We do not say that we should win, but someone must lose." The main thing for us is fair, lawful elections, and we will guarantee such elections regardless of whether we win or lose, "he said, and in this context added that there are concrete measures that will guarantee this.
According to him, there is a single fingerprint database in Armenia, and each voter leaves its mark during the voting. "If the second time he comes to the same polling station, the system will notify that this citizen has already voted." The problem is that all polling stations have separate bases. "There is no common base between them, if someone votes at one polling station and will try to vote in the same place for the second time, the warning system will work, but if he goes to the next section, he does not have to do this system, "Pashinyan said.
Answering the question of how they intend to do this in such a short time, the deputy assured that this is a very simple technical task. According to him, the XXI century, the age of information technologies are in the yard, and there are good specialists in information technologies in Armenia. "I am sure that it is possible to resolve this, and in order to guarantee free and fair elections, we plan to make two lists of voters - passive and active." If someone leaves the territory of Armenia, the system should automatically extract it from the active list of voters. , people not present in Armenia will not be on active electoral lists, and their names will be impossible to use for falsification, "the oppositionist said.
He also assured that they do not want the republican party network to change to their party network. At the same time, Pashinyan added that the events that have occurred in Armenia in the last 10-15 days, change a lot. "Just a month ago, a lot of people in Armenia thought that they did not decide anything at all. This thinking helped people to take bribes and vote according to these bribes. But now, I'm sure people understand the situation and its role in the future of the country, and this changes a lot, these changes are another factor guaranteeing free elections. " - the deputy summed up.
