ArmInfo. Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev held a telephone conversation with Acting Prime Minister of Armenia Karen Karapetyan.
As the press service of Russian Government reports, the parties discussed recent developments in Armenia, as well as current issues of Russian-Armenian relations. "Medvedev expressed support to the friendly Armenian people and stressed the importance of holding the situation within the legal constitutional field," the statement reads.
Following the report,iIn addition, the heads of Governments discussed issues of integrative cooperation within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Community. Karen Karapetyan was appointed as the Acting Head of the Government of the republic on the eve, after the resignation of Armenian Prime Minister Serzh Sargsyan.
