ArmInfo. Acting Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian met with the delegation of the Finland-Armenia parliamentary friendship group, led by Hugo Erolay.
The press service of Armenian Foreign Ministry told ArmInfo that Nalbandian stressed the important role of parliamentary diplomacy as an important format for the development of interparliamentary cooperation and highly appreciated the Armenian-Finnish friendly relations.
In turn, the head of of the Finnish Parliament delegation assured that the parliamentary group led by him will continue efforts to deepen cooperation in various fields. The agenda included strengthening cooperation between the legislative bodies of two countries, expanding the regulatory framework, and stimulating economic cooperation.
In the context of signing the framework agreement between Yerevan and Brussels, the interlocutors discussed Armenia-EU relations. Nalbandian presented domestic political developments in Armenia.
Speaking about the Karabakh conflict, Nalbandian drew the guests' attention to Baku's actions aimed at aggravating situation at the contact line, as well as the accumulation of heavy weapons and manpower on the contact line of the armies.
