ArmInfo. The events in Armenia, connected with opposition shares, are exclusively an internal matter of this country. This was stated to journalists by the press secretary of the Russian president Dmitry Peskov.
At the same time, he stressed that Moscow closely watches the events in Armenia, but even hypothetical arguments about the possibility of Russia's interference are "absolutely inappropriate".
"This is an exclusively internal matter of Armenia, we are closely monitoring what is happening in Armenia, Armenia is our closest ally, with whom we develop the closest relations," he said.
Peskov also noted that he can not say for sure if Yerevan asked for consultations with Moscow in connection with the latest events.
