ArmInfo. The Chairman of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, Ara Babloyan, was informed of the arrest of the RA NA deputies in accordance with the procedure established by the RA Constitution. This was reported by the press service of the RA Prosecutor's Office.
In the message of the department it was noted that the deputies of the National Assembly of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, Ararat Mirzoyan and Sasun Mikaelyan were detained by the Special Investigation Service of Armenia on the ground of violation of a number of points of the RA Law "On Freedom of Assembly". In particular, since April 13, holding rallies, the organizers neglected the restrictions of the authorized bodies of the Yerevan City Hall, and from April 19 to 22 in various administrative districts of Yerevan, rallies were organized, according to law, not authorized bodies were informed.
It should be noted that an hour after the negotiations between the Armenian Prime Minister Serzh Sargsyan and Nikol Pashinyan failed, the police began to force the dispersal of the protest in the administrative district of Erebuni. Pashinyan, Mirzoyan and Mikaelyan were abducted by law enforcers from their place of assembly. Meanwhile, protests in the capital do not stop. By the position at 13:00 hours, the drive has already been subjected to 49 people.
