ArmInfo. After the election of former Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan to the post of the country's Prime Minister, Armenia, according to the Constitution, passed to the parliamentary form of government. The next months and years, of course, will in practice demonstrate all the advantages and disadvantages of the new system of government in terms of economic, political and social development. This is stated in the statement of the Ramkavar Azatakan party.
In its statement, the party wished success to the newly elected prime minister and the government that he formed, "in the name of the people and the state". At the same time, the Ramkavars expressed deep concern over the internal political situation in the country. "In particular, we are referring to the watershed created over the years between the government and the people, which is constantly exacerbating the situation in the country. Clear evidence of this is the growing opposition movement, which may have bad consequences for our country, given the tense situation in the world and the region," the statement reads.
"Youth uprising and protest, should not be ignored by the newly created government. And from now on the country will follow the path of not formal, but real reforms involving all sectors of society and, above all, youth," the party believes.
