ArmInfo. The results of the parliamentary elections of 2017 were not due to mass bribery of voters, as the opposition claims. Serzh Sargsyan, a candidate for premieres, made such a statement in the National Assembly.
"Maybe there were single cases, but they did not influence the outcome of the elections. If these cases were massive, now in phones and gadgets almost all citizens have cameras, and all this could be filmed, but there are practically no such materials," - he assured, while not explaining on the basis of what logic a voter taking a bribe, should record this process and submit the material to law enforcement.
According to him, the authorities have done everything possible to conduct fair and transparent elections, installed video cameras on the sites, published lists of voted citizens, so that everyone is convinced that there were no cases of double voting. "In any case, we in our analyzes rely on the assessment of international observers who gave a positive opinion on the electoral processes of 207," the candidate concluded in the premiere.
In the parliamentary elections of 2017 the Republican Party won an absolute victory, then the "Tsaroukyan" and "Yelk" blocs went on, the ARF "Dashnaktsutyun" party closed the list of the forces that had passed into the parliament.
